Every single wedding I shoot is special to me but this one in particular had 2 factors that means its an extra special one for my history book!
Last Wedding Before the Easing of COVID Restrictions
This wedding will hopefully be the last ever super restricted celebration of up to 13 guests. The limited guest list meant that the uncle had to watch through the window!
This will also hopefully be the last wedding where the registrar restricts my movement around the ceremony! (grr) Despite being forced to only occupy a small space, I was able to capture the all important first look!
Final Official Signing of the Marriage Register
The wedding also marked the final date for the physical signing of the marriage register – from now on its all digital.
Restrictions Couldn’t Stop the Celebration!
Despite the Government regulations prohibiting a celebration inside the venue my couple and their party enjoyed some drinks in the gardens surrounding the venue.
Blessed with Sun
As the day continued, we were blessed with some beautiful sunny rays to compliment the cheery celebrations!
Natural Couple’s Portraits
We wanted to get some shots of just the bride & groom so after the guests had jumped in the taxi destined for the next venue, the 3 of us went to explore the picturesque garden.
Katie & Gav’s love for one another was so honest & plain to see that the portraits almost took themselves. The park perfectly reflected their beautiful relationship and lead to some excellent candid moments captured to film.
